VIBRATION ANALISYS

Vibration Analysis (VA), applied in an industrial or maintenance environment aims to reduce maintenance costs and equipment downtime by detecting equipment faults. VA is a key component of a condition monitoring (CM) program, and is often referred to as predictive maintenance (PdM). Most commonly VA is used to detect faults in rotating equipment (Fans, Motors, Pumps, and Gearboxes etc.) such as Unbalance, Misalignment, rolling element bearing faults and resonance conditions.

VA can use the units of Displacement, Velocity and Acceleration displayed as a time waveform (TWF), but most commonly the spectrum is used, derived from a fast Fourier transform of the TWF. The vibration spectrum provides important frequency information that can pinpoint the faulty component. We have certified technicians and equipment to perform all kinds of vibration analysis tests on rotating or static equipment.

BALANCING

equilibragem.png

All rotating equipment has some dynamic imbalance. However, when it reaches a certain intensity, it generates high vibrations, which can very quickly damage equipment components.

Therefore, the dynamic balance of the rotating components of a motor, pump or fan is essential so that the equipment does not suffer serious damage, causing unplanned shutdowns, with the consequent cost of non-production.

We have equipment and qualified technicians to perform balances at the client's plant.

Thermographic inspection

Thermographic inspection services identify symptoms of equipment malfunctions manifesting in the form of heating.

Thermography Inspection Services Applications:

Electrical Equipment and Systems

Identifies problems caused by thermal anomalies based on component current / resistance ratio, usually caused by contact deficiencies.

Dynamic Mechanical Equipment

In this field, thermography identifies problems caused by friction between components due to poor or inadequate lubrication, misalignment of shafts by heating the coupling component or bends shafts.

Static Mechanical Equipment

The service allows identification on surfaces in regions where there is a deficiency in thermal insulation.

LASER SHAFT ALIGNMENT

Alinhamentos a Laser.png

Shaft alignment is the process of aligning two or more shafts with each other to within a tolerated margin. It is an absolute requirement for machinery before the machinery is put in service.

When a driver like an electric motor or a turbine is coupled to a pump, generator, or any other piece of equipment, it is essential that the shafts of the two pieces are aligned. Any misalignment between the two increases the stress on the shafts and will almost certainly result in excessive wear and premature breakdown of the equipment. This can be very costly. When the equipment is down, production might be down.

We have qualified technicians and calibrated equipment to perform any type of shaft alignment except cardan shafts.

MAINTENANCE PLANS

Reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) is a concept of maintenance planning to ensure that systems continue to do what their user require in their present operating context. Successful implementation of RCM will lead to:

  • increase in cost effectiveness

  • reliability

  • increase of MTBF machine

  • greater understanding of the level of risk that the organization is managing

We have certified technicians to carry out preventive and predictive maintenance plans and the ability to implement them through partnerships with industrial maintenance companies.
